The worst customers - are the ones who complain, don't come back AND recommend the competition.

Worse Service Ever!

1 out of 5, reviewed on Nov 08, 2016

I have never written a negative review for a company before, as my mama say's 'if you have nothing nice to say then don't say it all". Sorry Ma, your words of wisdom go right out the window today!

Australia Post had completely messed up a delivery for me that was being sent overseas, they had quoted me a $ amount for the parcels to be sent which included insurance.

When I paid for the items over the counter, the lady had charged me twice and made a complete mess of what should have been a simple process. In the end, I paid more than what I was quoted for.

Sure enough when the items reached destination, the parcels had been damaged.

Sure enough when Australia Post was contacted, they then told me "Ah, no ma'am - you do not have insurance' Not only did they fail to tell me when purchasing their service that their insurance would only cover a maximum of $50 + shipping unless extra cost was made (I'm pretty sure that's what I wanted - hence requesting a quote. Whatever) but they also misplaced tracking numbers when processing my order (I only received one when I paid, turns out there was two)

Because they only gave me one tracking number at the time, it caused a massive headache when it came to them trying to process a damage report (not over exaggerating the headache - I could have been a spokesperson for Panadol)

They played the blame game between myself, the USPS and the receiver. I was only annoyed, as you cannot lure customers into paying for a product or service that really isn't there, if I wanted to do that, I'd be trading in stocks. I understood that accidents can happen but when sell a service, you need to follow it through.

Anyway, $2000 of products were damaged, no cover, end of story. Nice going Australia Post.

On the bright side of things, here's a couple of couriers I use all the time, do a wicked job, have really good prices, great customer and some even pick up your items from your door through a click of a button from your computer. Boom!

Mailman - Officeworks
