I am wondering why a parcel I am sending a parcel from Victoria to Tasmania is sent to Chullora first and then back to my hometown in Victoria, Sunshine? Why this loop? Surely it should be sent from Sunshine to Tasmania?? 63305014235066

Hi Lara,
I have responded on your earlier post.

My passport sat in Chullora for several days on its way from Melbourne to Darwin. Where it got soaked and ruined while the postie was taking it back to the PO because I was out.

At least your parcel left Sunshine. I checked the tracking, and my daughter's parcel (being sent within Victoria) has been sitting at Sunshine for 8 days, and is still there.

So is there any chance someone with authority from Auspost will tell us the truth of why our mail is getting delivered so late. I just had a letter take 28 days to travel 40km in Vic. Ive had 5 emails in the last 3 days from customers saying wheres my goods. I would be nice to have a truthful answer to this so we can pass it on to our customers. This is getting so bad that a statement should be put on your website, I'm sure It qualifies as an important update!!

Hi John,
There have not been any specific significant delay in the delivery network to our knowledge. I'm sorry that you've had so many items delayed recently; if you like to send me a private message with any tracking numbers you are concerned about, I'd be more than happy to follow up on these delays.

Seriously!! you have heard nothing!! I called the Auspost number 2 days ago and got the recorded message saying there is delays in the network and expect deliveries to take up to 3 more days. Well I can tell you its more like 3 more weeks. I cant believe you have heard nothing when its recorded on Ausposts own phone, where are you working from...Mumbai!!!

Hi John,
As we come into our peak season there may be delays of up to 2-3 days due to the volume in our network. Again, if there's any parcels you are concerned about, please let us know. We're working from Brisbane, and we're more than happy to help where we can.
