Hey Australia Post why are parcels and especially registered letters taking 3 weeks to arrive from 4207 area to Melbourne towns.
These should only take around 5 business days and when eBay quotes your estimated delivery times of maximum 7 business days, sellers are copping the brunt of your slackness, 3 weeks is a joke, Cobb and Co stagecoach delivered quicker than this.
My buyers are IRATE so this makes me ANGRY also as they think eBay sellers are not posting on time even though tracking shows otherwise.
I have to keep sending out items by Express Post so it costs me the item and postage only to have after lodging AP enquiries to have the 1st items suddenly turn up.
AP dont care they just say delivered but what about compensation.
Yes most of my customers are honest and "return to sender" one of the 2 parcels but I am still out of pocket for the postage because AP fails to deliver on time again and again.
I can understand one or two lates but not nearly every one.
I post 20 to 40 items daily.
NOT GOOD enough and I know the reply to this post will be "sorry" but what the heck is going on??
It was bad enough with Underwood, Sunshine West and with Chullora being the worse now apparently I am being told it is Dandenong >:(

Hey Sue,
I hope you're well and enjoying your Friday.
Can you let me know some examples of the items which have taken 3 weeks to arrive? I'll just need the tracking numbers and the destination postcodes.

I post many parcels and items daily so will take too long to go thru every one of them but these are just a few.
The 1st one AP phoned me back and couldnt explain either why the tracking details tell a different story after lodging the enquiry.
517330047013 posted 1:17pm Wed 12 Oct estimated to arrive 3862 13 Oct, arrived 27 Oct..... 2 weeks later.....same day but after I lodged enquiry at 11.52am, your CS even said there was no updates after lodgement then all of a sudden about 3pm all the info got posted but it said was unable to complete delivery 8:18am before I lodged enquiry and customer was home as I spoke to her at 11.35am, delivery driver came to her at 2.22pm so all the tracking details prior were lies. I phoned your CS and they couldnt explain why!!!

Hi Sue,
Registered Post letters have a standard delivery timeframe of 5-6 business days. This however is only an estimation and not a guarantee. Items can take longer than the time stated in the Delivery Times calculator here http://auspo.st/1TyH3yA...See More

Australia Post I am well aware of this but 2 to 3 weeks for deliveries from one capital city to another is beyond a joke.
My mail gets to the Torres Islands or outback areas of WA and NT quicker than this.
As usual AP is no longer viable and no wonder there are so many complaints. Just read this forum, it speaks for itself.
Also eBay sellers HAVE to answer to buyers when AP gives ESTIMATED times that are no where near true and eBay PUNISH sellers because of AP slackness and I am damn sure there are many other eBay sellers as well as buyers in this forum who would TOTALLY AGREE with this statement.
AP puts up all the postage prices and DOWNGRADES the services, we no longer get what we pay for.
