2 people - a heap of issues - and they are all bad and the customers are leaving.

Are you able to tell me when to expect my parcel, sent from England on 13th October. The company who sent it advises it should take 10-14 days working days. It's now 18 working days and should be close.

Australia Post

Hi Carole,
The time frame the company has provided you is about right....See More

Julia Anders

Good luck. I had something posted from the UK on the 10th of October and it still hasn't turned up.

They can't give me a tracking No. But they did say that it would be delivered by Australia Post. I wonder if they know how bad your company really is at delivering parcels. I suppose this means I will NEVER see it. Australia Post is such a pathetic company. I wish you'd go under already so we dont have to go on suffering like this and our parcels can get delivered by someone else.

Australia Post

Hi Carole,
Sadly without the unique tracking number for this parcel we are unable to locate this in our system.
Please let me know if you do get provided with one and I can look into this further for you.
Regards,
Mitch

Carole Cox

No tracking number means, it seems, anybody can just take it home, they won't get found out, because nobodys going to be looking for it. Customer can't, Australia Post won't.

Australia Post

Hi Carole,
No tracking number means it would be impossible to locate in our system to even confirm something has been sent as we do not keep records based on name or address. I'm sorry that we are unable to look into this further for you.
Regards,
Mitch

Carole Cox

I'm pretty sure they would have sent it. It's more likely that Australia Post has lost it.

Australia Post

Hi Carole,
Sounds like an impressive store and I'm confident they would have sent it also however we are unable to confirm this without a tracking number regrettably.
Regards,
Mitch

With so many parcels disappearing within Australia, why isn't tracking standard with Australia Post? Surely you want every parcel to be delivered.

Australia Post

Hi Carole,
Tracking is standard on all our domestic services for this exact reason. As this parcel was sent from overseas we have no control over whether or not it was sent via a trackable service....See More

Yep I've had a parcel marked as delivered when I was home the whole day and time it specified as delivered TF2158126501000930209 I've lodged an equirey and have spoken to an Aus Post customer service rep who told me someone signed my name for it? Well I went back and spoke to the website I ordered the item from and they basically said that's BS as the delivery type doesn't even require signature. - Obviously the postie or the local post office has stolen the package which was worth >$150. This isn't the first time this has happened either. I'm not holding my breath for the outcome of the enquiry and will be avoiding Aus Post in the future - very disappointed.

Australia Post

Hi Allyson,
I can understand how disappointing this would be for you considering its not the first time this has happened. Are you able to share your case number with me and I'll take a look at the progress of your investigation?...See More

Allyson Harkness

08085436 is the case number. If a signature was required that is even more concerning as either one of your staff forged my signature or it was delivered to the wrong address as I was home all day.

Australia Post

Thanks Allyson. I appreciate how concerned you'd be regarding this delivery.
I can assure you, your case has been referred to the Fyshwick Parcel Delivery Centre and we'll seek further clarification regarding your delivery as soon as possible. Whilst we endeavour to resolve these types of cases within 10 business days, you're welcome to contact us at any time for updates. Regards.

Hi Wing,
I can see you've had a discussion with one of our international agents today. Based on the notes left, I can see compensation was discussed however the event compensation is due, this is to be provided back to the sender. I apologise I don't have any further details for you.

lmfao see Allyson

Allyson Harkness

So someone has forged my signature then?! (AKA fraud, a criminal offence) that is pretty horrifying - most likely a delivery driver, who best case couldn't be bothered doing the delivery and worst case decided to keep the parcel for himself - OR it has been delivered to the completely wrong address.

Allyson Harkness

Interfering with the post is also a criminal offence, not to mention negligence & possibly fraud on the part of Australia post contractors/employees - luckily there's a whole heap of solitcitors in my family who have some great advice - also possible class action for what is evidently a common occurrence?

Australia Post

Hi Allyson,
We will certainly look into this case and of course, take the appropriate actions to ensure this issue doesn't happen again.
