Australia Posts Priority Mail - Another Bullshit Slow Speed Scam.

As an eBay top-rated premium seller, I have noticed that since October 13th, the time taken to have letter parcels delivered is shocking. We send out 80+ parcels each day around Australia. These are the rough turn around times since October 13th.
VIC to VIC - 5 business days
VIC to NSW/QLD (vice versa) - over 10 business days
Also for registered satchels, I can't understand how it takes 4 business days to get from Doncaster to your Sunshine sorting centre. Something is going on that you aren't telling us.

Hi Jack,
I understand your frustration if your parcels are getting to their destinations later than you expect, but there's no secret reason behind it. Quite simply time frames for delivery can vary depending on the volume of mail and parcels we are processing that day and any incidents that may be having an impact in the specific areas at that time. I assure you that we are ensuring that any parcels in our possession are being delivered as quickly as physically possible within our constraints.
You can have a look at delivery time frames at http://auspo.st/1TyH3yA but please keep in mind that for standard parcel post we can only ever give you an estimate of when we expect it to arrive.

Australia Post I've seen your postage times, you state 2-6 business days for letter parcels, for VIC to NSW metro.
It's taken over 10 days, with some being undelivered.
A letter from Kew VIC to Doncaster VIC took 5 business days from my conveyancer to my real estate agent.
Adding an additional 50c priority stamp is also a rort, another fake revenue raising method by your boss since it took the same amount of time as standard letter parcel.
There is also no way for AP to confirm its delivery method/events when questioning why priority letters are not even close to arriving at the estimated timeframe.
Ps. Reading through other posts by members, it does appear there seems to be some slowness since Oct 13

It is correct that letters are no longer sorted locally meaning that letters going to suburbs nearby, would have to travel to our Sorting Centres in order to be sent to their destinations. This was a part of the January 2016 Letter Reform due to losses caused by the ever declining letters industry.
Priority labels are scanned by the sorting machines and treated similar to Express items, as they are sorted into a priority queue for 1-4 business day delivery. But as stated prior, incidents can cause delays in mail delivery whether it is Regular, Priority, Registered or Express. Being Priority or Express does not make this service immune to unforeseen circumstances.
If you need further assistance, don't hesitate to let us know.
