I have had the worst experience with Australia Post customer support. I have been tracking a missing box I posted in July. I started my new business in July and this was the second order I posted. As a new business, my reputation has been tarnished, a box of brand new stock has simply vanished, even though a problem in Berseker QLD has been identified where a sub contractor has not been using his scanner. I was told to call back the 13POST number "every couple of days", so someone on a computer screen could tell me no more than what I already knew by using the Track my Item app on my phone. This is more than frustrating in that today when I phoned, I was told by a customer support staff member that my case had been CLOSED. Why would it be CLOSED with nobody advising me, there was no resolution and I there's apparently nothing more that can be done. Why bother providing me a tracking number when nobody can seem to track a parcel. This is a joke Australia Post, to think you charge like a wounded bull, don't provide any assistance and then I am finally told that it's no longer your problem

Not happy australia post, you lost/stole, our parcel! Proven you delivered it to the wrong person, via tracking number, we had insurance, we had all documents you closed the case, you did not investigate, you did not pay the insurance! nor ring where the parcel was posted from in your investigation WHY!, you say there was not enough evidence you are liars Australia Post, & we are taking this matter further

Meanwhile at home, they deliver the epackage envelope but it is sliced down the side and the CONTENTS ARE MISSING!!!!! Trust Australia Post. SURE CAN'T.
What happens when you complain to them? "Yeah, happens all the time."
Got news for you Australia Post. It bloody well shouldn't. If a legitimate business operated like this, they would be convicted of criminal activity. It is called THEFT!

Would prefer that you don't pay Dr Katrina for her time but pay your staff so that my parcel arrives to my home instead of sitting in a depot and then being sent back interstate...... and l get to watch this all unfold because it has a tracking number.

Australia Post
Thanks for that.
Looking at the tracking; it looks like the automated sorting machines, at our state sorting centres, are having difficulty reading the address.
This can cause a parcel to bounce back and fourth.
Are you the sender or the addressee of this parcel?

Cheers Janine. Ringing that number wasn't helpful at all. It was frustrating, stressful and a waste of my time. I did end up lodging an enquiry at the website though. Thank you :)

Thanks for the tip. I was going to use one won't now

Anthony I already have one that's registered & used for my family. There's never been a problem with it. The customer support line was a nightmare to deal with for my new card though.
