With the scum sucking CEO of Australia post seeking ever more intrusion into peoples lives.
And the dickheads in the government won't kick this over paid idiot out.
The services are getting worse.
So many people in Australia, are doing every thing they can to get Australia Post out of their lives.
No bills, no passports, no stamps, no parcels, no deliveries, no post offices etc., etc., etc.
If the pissed off ex customers won't wear more of the bullshit, and won't go kill themselves out of frustration and rage, I wonder what direction this will take, when Australia Posts dick brain services lead to the data and ID theft of 10 million people.
Because if the crapfest of bad service continues, at the "Australia Post Level" from parcels to personal data, people are going to want heads to start rolling.
Australia Post can't even run a website, much less a secure system.
And Ahmed Fahour is a bona-fide fool.
The bad feed back continues:
And enormous amounts of customers are at boiling point.

Have to take original passport if I want to collect a parcel?
3 out of 5, reviewed on Nov 11, 2016
This afternoon I went to post office to get my parcel. I redirected it from my house address to the nearest post office, as I knew normally I was not at home when they came to drop the parcel.
Due to the redirection, I don't hold a hand written card, which usually said" we miss you". I just had my AU post app, it showed all necessary information: name, address, most importantly, my parcel number and details for sender and receiver. I also have a electronic Copy of my passport saved in my mobile, and a student card in my purse. I thought it would be enough to prove I am "me". So I went to the post office directly from work, didn't go back home to take my original passport.
The lady who serves me shows no patient since first minute. I explained to her I don't hold a parcel picking card due to the redirection, and I showed my app with parcel information to her, also my photo of passport.
At first she asked for the photo ID with address on it. God I don't have a driving license in Australia, I always collect my parcel using passport, and there is no address on it! Then she said it has to be original passport, photo is not acceptable. But I've done this before!? So I told her, last time another lady told me I can use e copy.
Then she started to ask for "my post" card. Yes I did receive a card from AU post few weeks before, but I've no idea about how to use it. Actually I never be asked to used it before, how come I need it today?
Since I started to talk to her, she never asked anything about my address, my parcel number, but she suddenly left the counter and start to look for the parcel...
About five mins later, she came back. Of course she took nothing back. She asked me:" why are you laughing? You think it's funny?" I'm with my friend, I was talking to him during this five mins, what's wrong with my laugh?
Apparently my friend knows these government people better than me. He started to comfort her, " you see these girls always make trouble. They are stupid they don't know anything!" It seems like, she is satisfied with the fact that" I am a stupid girl and I always make trouble".
She took my phone, check my parcel number. Asked, do you have English name? I told her the parcel was sent from eBay seller, maybe they will print my eBay name on it. Now she went back to search the parcel. When she finally came back with it, she told me, next time don't print this name! How should I know what kind of name the sender want to use? Yes they did use my English name, but that name was after my official name...
Question for AU post:
1. Do I really have to take the original copy of passport?
Checking ID is for the safety of our parcels, but if I have other ID doc, why can't we use them? Together ?
2. What's wrong with a customer's smile/laugh?

Apparently Lavington is a Black Hole

So I have been watching tracking for my item tracking number: N3S0045721. It was posted on the 29th October and has been sitting at Lavington post office since 5am 1st November.
So I live an hour and a half away from Lavington. In the time it has taken them to process my item I could have driven over to get it on multiple occasions.
This is so infuriating considering it seems to be becoming a trend with Aus Post and I almost lost a customer over the incident last time with delayed postage.
Get your act together Aus Post. Your customers are suffering.
UPDATE:
After having to contact Aus Post through three different avenues my package is suddenly magically being delivered to me tomorrow. Sounds so suss. Really mad. If I had any choice I would stop using this service all together.

Getting a bit tired of this.
2 out of 5, reviewed on Nov 10, 2016
I'm getting very tired of receiving mail collection cards in my mail box for small parcels which my regular mail deliverer obviously either does not have with him or does not have any intention of delivering. My father, a former postie himself, told me that the motorcycle deliverers are given parcels based on weight rather than size - not real smart when the parcel is light but not big enough to fit in a mailbox.
Anyway, I keep getting cards in my mailbox and keep having to trek to the post office to collect parcels which I have paid to be delivered to my home.
Then today, I had an issue with the parcel contractor. I signed up for email updates for an expensive parcel through the AusPost website, and when I got home, found an email stating my parcel had been delivered but was nowhere to be found. I went to the post office and was told that it had been safe dropped somewhere on my premises. I returned home and searched in vain, then contacted AusPost by telephone only to be told that it would take days to find out where it had been left. Not great considering that there are storms on the horizon and it could have been left anywhere.
Anyway, finally got the parcel later that night - a neighbour found it in his yard and returned it to me - but it was a stressful experience and I'm really annoyed that this even happened.
Reconsidering any usage of Australia Post in the future.

Not Helpful in the least

The postie left a note in the letter box after about 10 seconds of knocking on the door. I was waiting all day for the delivery. The note was unreadable so I just had to guess that my parcel was waiting for me at the depot. So I not only wasted a day but also the following morning trying to receive my package.

UNACCEPTABLE DELIVERY LEAD TIME
1 out of 5, reviewed on Nov 10, 2016
Send an wedding card with a cheque for my cousin's wedding. I made sure I sent it through well in advance so it can be guaranteed that it will arrive there on time. (From Melbourne to Brisbane). Paid for tracked postage which has upto 6 working days lead time. It was sent on the 5th October and wedding was on the 16th October. Lodged an investigation and received a confirmation that it got delivered on the 31th October. I ended cancelling the cheque beforehand just incase and had to pay $25 to cancel it.
Sent an email on the 2nd November reque sting for info regarding the delivery and compensation for the loss as per the clause in Claiming loss upto $100 and as well as the paid service which AU post had breached but still no reply til now.

If that's the case, fine. But I atlas have the right to know or an explanation as to why it has taken almost a month for a REGISTERED POST to get from A MAIN CITY TO A MAIN CITY Melbourne to Brisbane. It's not like to going to a rural place in the NT

It's really strange that your parcel was delayed so much, and I'm really sorry that this happened.
Unfortunately I'm not able to provide an explanation as to what has occurred, as the scans don't provide any indication.

Total Rubbish
1 out of 5, reviewed on Nov 10, 2016
This is the 3rd review I have written for Aus Post in the last 6 months for the 3rd Parcel.
The same typical rubbish can (and was) to be expected:
- Unexplained and appalling languish times for international articles in sort facilities of 4 days or more to sort an article, I know Aus Post is public sector but that is new lows even for them.
- Delivery to Tasmania 1 time a week (Mondays,) your article hits Melbourne on a Tuesday or Late Monday night, the article WILL sit for another 7 days, all in the name of saving a buck.
- No Tracki ng being adequately done on tracked articles, quality of tracking has been falling off for the last several years. This seems to be an attempt to hide appalling handling times by slack staff in an understaffed environment.
-"Priority" international articles which can cost upwards of $50AUD or more in postage are treated as surface mail.
- Complaint line staff feed unbelievable lines of garbage such as "We have billions of parcels coming into our Sunshine facility every day" and "Australia post is one of the top 4 mail handlers in the world"
In 2014 Aus Post made a 222 million dollar loss on the back of plummeting demand for their particular brand of service while giving us the 3rd price hike in 5 years for falling and failing service, even FarseWay is looking like a better alternative for Parcel delivery.

Lost parcel
1 out of 5, reviewed on Nov 10, 2016
I sent an express parcel on the 7th November from my Express Post Post office Kingston Tas. To Toongabbie NSW also an express post service area. The tacking number is 99601513927201004670903 It was supposed to have been delivered by close of business yesterday. It was not.
I lodged an enquiry and receive a phone call this morning 9th Nov. That the fools have lost my parcel...They are offering me compensation...that is not the point.
They advertise guaranteed next day delivery for express post. If this was a private enterprise they could be sued for breach of contract and false advertising. This is not the first item they have not delivered on time.
Their hap hazzard service is affecting my mail order business and being a captive market Australia Post does not give a moot. They increase their postage rates but their efficiency and service has become atrocious.
Now they offer to compensate me but this will take another 5-6 days and in the meantime I have to TRY to get this item to my customer some bloody way or give him a refund if the idiots at Australia Post cannot deliver.
Disappointed
Paid for mail to be held! But did you know a parcel isn't mail????
1 out of 5, reviewed on Nov 09, 2016
On a holiday in June, I sent a parcel from Spain to my home address in South Yarra but it arrived before I did. However, I had also paid for my mail to be held until my return only to find that Australia Post does not classify parcels as mail.
So imagine my surprise when I went to collect the parcel and told that it was not "mail". So I asked where it had been sent to as there was no return address on it seeing that I was travelling in Spain with no fixed abode. The Call Centre advised me that it had been sent to Sydney and to ring up in five d ays' time to allow for transit time.
When I rang two days' later, I was told that it had been put on a ship back heading back to the sender in Spain. But I explained that there was no sender in Spain - it was me and I was home waiting for my parcel!
The consignment note from the Spanish Post Office had my email and my phone number so why wouldn't someone use their common sense and email/ring me before putting a parcel on a ship to another country???????
When I asked that question on my third phone call to the Call Centre, I was told that the process was to return all undelivered mail to the country of origin. Now that is excellent customer service - put process before people.
Also during that phone call, I was advised that the parcel was no longer going to Spain, it was going to the Netherlands and a reverse trace had been instituted to circumvent it in the Netherlands. I rang and asked how that reverse trace was going in my next phone call and was advised that due to the sheer volume of parcels and a lack of staff, the parcel had been forwarded to Spain. When I asked where it was going in Spain, the Team Leader said the "Madrid Gateway Facility".
When I asked for its address so I could follow up with my parcel directly, the Team Leader kept reiterating the "Madrid Gateway Facility" as if I had not understood in the first place what that meant. He then hung up on me. Great customer service there especially from a Team Leader.
So I wrote to Australia Post on 31/101/6 with a letter and a $1 stamp as there are no email addresses on their website and no way to attach documents either requesting follow up from the Chief Customer Officer. Nine days later and I am still waiting for an acknowledgement of my letter which, I can only guess, has been lost in the post.
BTW: I had also been posting inquiries on the Australia Post website too which, to date, have not been answered.

eBay seller, now it is time to scream!!!

Delay? just delay? how luck you are, doesn't matter how much delay it is, it will be
OK cause you are still able to prove that you did shipped goods to your buyer.
Now, what frighten me yesterday is that I found there is still NO updating after the mail has been successful delivered!!! Although it is two weeks delayed as it should be, but my buyer told me he received the mail and closed the "mail not received" case opened on eBay, but there is still NO updating on official APO tracking web site until now.
So, what this mean to a seller on eBay using PayPal? Go figure ...
Here is also what happened to me yesterday, a buyer escalated a similar case after two weeks delayed to eBay and eBay refund money immediately for the reason of "there is no updating" on APO web site now so there is no proof that you sent mail so all is your fault so you are the loser so eBay's decision is on favorite of buyer and refund!!!!
I still remember how to pack the mail and when I shipped three weeks ago, so I lost my goods, my paid bloody expensive postage fee and have to receive a penalty from eBay to low down my seller standing because of that. I also kept a digital record for all the job I have done, but it's all useless, the ONLY proof that you did shipped your mail out is the tracking status shown on APO's web site.
And the worst thing is not coming yet, I have a very long list of "mail not received" opened case still waiting for the result ..., I'm just keeping ask myself, what happened? what happens? do we have a tomorrow? is it gonna be a better one or even worse?

Hi there,
Your parcels should absolutely be scanned when they're delivered, and I can see the issue this would be causing when this doesn't occur.
Can you let me know the tracking number for the parcel that this happened with?
Steph.

The incidence for this case had only happened once over last 5 years (ship 1000 plus mails/month) as I can remembered, but it happened three times alone just in
last month (post area code:3088, 2066, 2118)
Discussed with eBay few days ago, shown them the tracking#, and they admitted this thing do happens. They ask me to contact APO directly.
Now every day I spent about 2 to 3 hours on my computer typing almost the same hopelessly message again and again begging my buyers to be patient, promises their mail will come soon, but again and again making them disappointed, I can feel my buyer are getting more and more angry.
There is something rotting in blood of APO's system, pretty sad, it was OK.
I am already starting to looking some other service. will reduce at least half mails shipping via APO next year.

What do you call an Australia Post customer? A postie; because you have to complete their deliveries
1 out of 5, reviewed on Nov 09, 2016
You thought that joke was bad? It's nothing compared to the state of AusPost's service.
I had been checking tracking information for a package I was expecting. The AusPost website said 'onboard with driver for delivery today'...happy days. Then I refresh the tracking page and it says 'attempted delivery - card left' just 15 minutes prior. The address is a business address and was attended all day.
No card was left, but the tracking information indicated which post office the parcel was left at. I lodged an enquiry with AusPost, for which I effectively received a "sorry, we'll talk to our people" response. I had to leave work early the next day to complete the delivery.
That night, I contacted the sender of another package for the tracking number.
Delivery was 'attempted' on the same day as the first package, and again no card was left. Interestingly, delivery was 'attempted' approximately 15 minutes apart for each package. This package was waiting at the post office for me to collect at the same time as the first package, but I had no idea because NO CARD WAS LEFT.
Consequently, I had to take more time off work to complete a second delivery. A second enquiry was lodged with AusPost, which I have just checked and has been closed with no response.
Another interesting occurrence...A card was left in the door on the 2nd of November, saying delivery was attempted on the 1st of November for the package for which delivery was originally 'attempted' on the 31st of October.
