And these fabulous fucks still have their jobs.
Why?
5 out of the last 10 posts on this site, the people have written Australia Post off - "Moving to couriers".
When I started this blog off, it was maybe 1 in 1000 complaints, where people said, "Australia Post - Not using them any more."
Now it's 50% of the complaints are saying, "Over all the bullshit - Moving to couriers."
Australia Post makes $40 million profit, and $20 million of that goes in the form of bonuses, to Fahour and his team of fucking executive imbeciles.
We will let the customers, or now 50% ex customers frame the issue.

I am totally confused by this answer provided by Australia Post, attempting to locate letter LX300448106ES which has not moved from Sydney for 9 days now, I guess I am basically just going to have to accept its lost or STOLEN.. "This was handed over to us for delivery on the 4th October, but there don't seem to be any updates since then. Your parcel should definitely be in transit on it's way to you. If this hasn't arrived by the end of this week, I'd encourage you to contact the person who sent this to you and get them to follow up." Now my question is, if the letter was handed to AUSTRALIA POST on the 4th of October , then why should I need to contact the sender (ON THE OTHE SIDE OF THE WORLD) for them to follow it up?? It doesn't make sense, you have said it was handed over to Australia Post on the 4th, therefore shouldn't Australia Post know where it is?? Such a great service we have running here..

I don't mean to take this out on you Steph but you must understand the frustration i am feeling, the question i have just asked is obviously too hard to answer so it is just evaded and ignored, you have admitted that Australia Post were the last ones in possession of my package, but that's where the trail ends,
I am out almost $100 with absolutely no recourse, and as far as i can see AusPost couldn't care less. Its a sad state of affairs that the package can successfully navigate the Spanish postal system but Australia Post cannot even transport a package between the two largest cities in the country.
Is it any wonder people are turning away from you guys in droves, there is no accountability, I am outraged that the CEO of this company earns over 2 million dollars a year for presiding over the disintegration of what was once a first rate service. I am generally not a fan of privatizing public assets, but AusPost is a shambles.
And for the record i did lodge an inquiry with "My Support" 4 days ago, I have heard NOTHING, but that doesn't surprise me.
Now to the 50% of complaints are saying, "Removing Australia Post from my supply chain."
And the swindling soft cock who gave Fahour a job, still hasn't sacked him.

Customer ratings of Australia Post
Just because it's a parcel from overseas, doesn't mean you have to treat it poorly
So
I have ordered something of of eBay, I paid extra for tracking, no
problem. The seller gave me a website where I can track all packages in
one place, perfect! So it leaves HongKong for Melbourne after a while.
No problems here. Should be delivered within the next few days, easy! So
I realise there is no tracking update. I felt like it was lost... o oh.
So I have went to Australia Posts website and tracked it there. It
shows exactly what is shown on the website i was given. But then sure
enough...after around 10 WORKING DAYS SINCE IT ARRIVED
IN SYDNEY, it was stuffed in my
letter box even through the parcel says do not bend and fragile on it.
So it was late (on behalf of Australia Posts control, EMS done
everything on their part well). I live in a metropolitan area, so no
service is to take 10 days after landing. So expected wait time was 12
days, I waited around 20. So I paid extra for a tracked service, and
once it arrives in Australia, Australia Post thinks It doesn't have to
scan it. Even though it has a HUGE barcode on it, that says SCAN EVENTS
REQUIRED. Ps: This is always the case, for around 5 packages. Want the
tracking number to prove it, Australia Post?
Thomas
International small package left Sydney the morning of October 2nd and still not received.
The tracking information
says it left Sydney the morning of the 2nd, and it was 'processed
through facility' on the 5th of October. It is now the 16th and still no
package and the tracking hasn't updated at all. This is ridiculous, I
received something coming up from Sydney only last month from a private
carrier and it took 2 and a half days to get to me, that is without
express.
BAD SERVICE - EVEN WITH TRACKING
This service really is
shoddy. I don't send a lot of parcels but when I do I opt for satchels
from the post office. You think now with tracking you would get a
reliable service. The price of satchels have gone up ridiculously in the
last few years. Not only do they get lost but get delivered to wrong
addresses too! Very hard to then get them back. I'll be looking to other
courier services next time.
Not Only Are Parcels Not Delivered Now Opened Inquiry's Are Deleted Before Resolution
Recently I have sent two
packages, Both have not shown up and for both I have opened inquiry's
with Australia post support. After more then one month the first parcel
was deemed lost and I was offered a refund of the postage costs. The
second is still in limbo. In order to get this refund I was asked to
provide my account number to auspost. In order to do this I logged into
the support portal only to find both my recent inquiry's are missing as
if they were never opened. They are numbered 07657837 & 07320839
Which I can provide because Luckily I have kept the emails. The Postal
service is poor and now the online service is just as bad.
Waste of time
It's pretty clear that over
the past year the Australia Post service has gone from bad to worse. It
now takes more than 10-14 days for a parcel to reach me from Sydney.
This is an utter joke.
Express parcels would always take 1-2 days more to get to me anyway so were a waste of money; but now. Oh my. It might take 4-5 days for it to arrive.
This isn't just one item either. Over the past two weeks every single package has been late. And some, that I ordered prior to my most recent package, haven't even arrived yet.
It's clear I need to choose a courier service from now on and avoid AusPost permanently.

Frustrated
I had few bad experiences
with them at first but thought of giving it few more tries before
feeling completely frustrated. I live in an apartment and can't believe
that the posties can't differentiate between UNIT 5 and SHOP 5. Our
mails go to the shop and we end up getting their mails. To make things
worse sometimes we end up waiting for parcels only to realize its
showing delivered on their website. This time there was no attempted
delivery and no delivery card. Great.

Hey Sudin,
This sounds really frustrating!
I'd like to follow up on this to make sure the Delivery Centre are aware of this issue.

Useless People. Never use them
I ordered something on
5/10/16 from Melbourne to Perth and it's been 9 days now. I called them
or checked online but they don't even have any kind of information but I
was told by sender it gonna arrive on 10/10/16 or 11/10/16 (3-5 working
days max) and I am still in hope to get some answer from these useless
people. Please don't use them.
Australia Post, what a joke!
8 days from Melbourne to
country Victoria, and I still haven't received my parcel yet. Tracking
number says that my parcel is still sitting in Campbellfield. Third
world service, very disappointing Australia Post!
Too slow
Australia Post mail and
parcels have taken twice to three times as long to receive. I have
noticed this in the last 6 months. It is ridiculous. They must be making
a fortune with the amount of online purchases that have to be
delivered, but this is not reflected in their service. I usually have
tracking with my parcels and I have not seen them moving for 3 business
days???

Hey Misskim,
Do you have a tracking number you can share with me? I'll be happy to check this out for you
Steph.

This service is disgusting- more akin to a third world country
I
have been waiting for nearly six weeks for five parcels from UK and one
from Canada (that's after another was 'lost') -- all cds & dvds.
Sure enough they arrive in Australia, but thats the last that's heard.
Phone Australia Post but after being put on hold for ages, I'm told AP
will investigate. Only interested in profits - to hell with the service.
And where I live (Southern Moreton Bay Islands, Q'ld) both mail and
parcels are delivered by contractor - why doesn't AP revert to their own
workers - as it is nobody is prepared to take responsibility - even told that because all the islands have the same post code, the parcels may have been returned, I ask you??
It's now over three weeks later and I've heard no more back-despite promises from their representative.
Meanwhile, another LRB is a few days late arriving (if it ever does arrive) and a cheque that I posted, to pay my credit card, to a bank in Sydney -- yes, 2 weeks later and they still haven't received it. WILL AUSTRALIA POST EVER LEARN THAT WE PAY FOR A SERVICE THAT THEY SEEM INCAPABLE OF DELIVERING ON? Actually, their service would be an insult to a Third World nation!!

Just too slow compared to other carriers.
I have found Australia Post
to be comparable in price for sending parcels, sometimes a little
cheaper, however I have found they are significantly slower in
delivering parcels across the same distances.

Returning back to a sender
Sender has forgot to put
unit 2 on a parcel and i called the same day they tried delivering to
ask them if i could pick it up as the parcel was still in Brisbane...But
apparently nothing can be done about it if its wrong address. Money
grabbing. I'll make sure my international parcels don't go to there
hands anymore.
Australia Post Official
Hi Almir,
If there's an incorrect address on a parcel then we're unfortunately not able to amend this whilst it's in transit.
Parcels generally get returned to sender the same day as the attempt...

There you go, 50% of people complaining are now saying, "From now on, we are not going to use Australia Post again. And we are going to make sure our deliveries come by other providers.
And the dick head CEO and the dick head executive, just sucked up $20,000,000 in bonuses, and for what?
Providing a service where 50% of the customers are leaving?
